Identify Trees & Enjoy Local Urban Forest Ecology in Spanish & English
Whether you speak Spanish ONLY or only a little Spanish, come take a walk with us in Norwood Park where you can learn to identify some beautiful native mature canopy trees in the collection and see how they live in the riparian urban forest of the Little Falls Watershed ecosystem.

For families, landscape professionals or anyone who wants to enjoy a Spanish language morning tour and share your own tree knowledge with local ecologist Serenella Linares and ISA arborist Adele Medina O’Dowd.  We’ll visit Elms, Oaks, Tulip Poplars and Black Walnut trees, native plants and fungi.

Sea que hables SÓLO español ó hables solo poquito el español, venga a caminar con nosotros en Norwood Park. Aprenda a identificar árboles nativos y maduros. También puedrás ver cómo viven en el bosque ribereño de la Little Falls, un ecosistema urbano. Programa diseñado para familias, profesionales del paisaje ó cualquier persona que quiera disfrutar de una caminata mañanera en español. Comparte tu conocimiento sobre árboles con la Mycóloga  local Serenella Linares y la arbolista del I.S.A. Adele Medina O’Dowd. Visitaremos Olmos, Robles, Álamo tulipán, y otras plantas y hongos indígenos. Nos reuniremos en El TRONCO cerca del patio de juego de niños superior.
