Keep a Bird Count
The parks, streams, forests, and even yards in the Little Falls Watershed provide a great environment for birds. Click HERE for a 2016 bird count and HERE for a 2009 count. If you are doing a bird count, let us know and we'll post it here.
Keep an Amphibian List
There are snakes, lizards, frogs, toads, turtles and more in the Little Falls watershed. These amphibians are a great indicator of the health of our environmnet. Help us create a list of the amphibian sightings in the watershed.
In 2014, we participated in the Montgomery County FrogWatch program. Click HERE for Jeanette Kreiser's report on what she found in Vinton Pond by the Somerset Pool. Visit HERE for more information about the FrogWatch Program and how you can become involved.
