LFWA, in collaboration with MCDOT and Westbrook Elementary School, has planted native trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers to the area, creating a haven for native pollinators and song birds.

Bring gloves and a shovel or use ours.. Wear long pants and closed toe shoes and bring plenty of water to drink.

We will meet at the bottom of Yorktown Road where it dead ends into the Little Falls Branch. The closest address for GPS is 5301 Yorktown Road.

Pre-approved for MCPS SSL hours. Students under 14 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Weather policy: We usually hold pulls as long as there is not pouring rain or deep snow. We will post messages on the LFWA website by 9:00 that morning if we need to cancel.
