LFWA is partnering with the Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail to remove invasive non-native weeds from the Capital Crescent Trail.

Bring gloves or clippers or use ours. Wear long sleeves, long pants and closed toe shoes and bring water to drink.

Pre-approved for MCPS SSL hours. Students under 14 years must be accompanied by responsible adult.

COVID Safety: Participants must follow the current Maryland and CDC guidelines for COVID safe events. You will be asked to sign a waiver onsite.  Volunteers must be vaccinated against COVID if eligible for the vaccine as per Montgomery Parks requirements.

Weather policy: We usually hold pulls as long as there is not pouring rain or deep snow. We will post messages on the LFWA list serv or website by 9:00 that morning if we need to cancellation.
