LFWA is partnering with the Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail to remove invasive non-native weeds from the Capital Crescent Trail.
Meet at the end of the River Road bridge, on the south side. There is a small parking lot on the access road after Schnabel Foundation, 5210 River Rd, Bethesda, MD 20816. Please see map for exact location.

Bring gloves or clippers or use ours. Wear long sleeves, long pants and closed toe shoes and bring water to drink.
Pre-approved for MCPS SSL hours. Students under 14 years must be accompanied by responsible adult.
COVID Safety: Participants must follow the current Maryland and CDC guidelines for COVID safe events. You will be asked to sign a waiver onsite. Volunteers must be vaccinated against COVID if eligible for the vaccine as per Montgomery Parks requirements.
Weather policy: We usually hold pulls as long as there is not pouring rain or deep snow. We will post messages on our website by 9:00 Saturday morning if we need to cancel or reschedule.
