The Greenacres Habitat Restoration project is located between Wakefield and Yorktown Road on the "paper road" that parallels the creek.
The project was started in 2016 by a group of Greenacres residents who were concerned about the negative impact of invasive plant species on the local environment, and is a collaboration with the Little Falls Watershed Alliance (LFWA) and the Aqua Eagles from Westbrook Elementary School. More about the project is HERE.
Special thanks to our partners in this restoration Montgomery County Department of Transportation, Montgomery Public Schools and Montgomery Parks.

Thank you to Strosnider 's Hardware for a donation that made it possible to purchase mulch.
