LFWA had a great year in 2011.  We hosted dozens of meaningful and well attended events, advocated successfully for a bag fee in Montgomery County, and finished phase one of the Westbrook Elementary School Meadow restoration.  Hundreds of flowers bloomed all summer attacting bees, butterflies and other pollinators.  We presented at two conferences and were invited to have an eco-education booth at the Maryland Green School Youth Summit on the Bay. 

While being an all volunteer organization does keep our costs low, we still require the contributions of passionate community members like you to continue our work.  We know that, together, our individual contributions can make a great impact for clean water.  Please join us in our fight for a clean environment in your neighborhood by  making a year-end donation to LFWA .
